After the overwhelming success of ECENTRA2K14, We are here with “ECENTRA2K16”-A Tech fest conducted by ECE department of JNTUK-UCEV to transcend all the thresholds of science and technology.ECENTRA2K16 acts as a catalyst to spark things up in one’s monotonous college schedule. It provides an excellent platform to showcase all kinds of different talents ranging from arts, educational and sports to informal ones like JAM or hogging the most food in the least time.Despite what people may say, winning an event however spectacular or ridiculous gives everyone something to boost about to the world. A shiny piece of metal awarded can skyrocket one’s self-esteem. So,Have the sweet realization of being accepted with your amazingly weird talents which makes you feel different from others. If one fails to conquer that particular event; they know they were close, and next time they pounce they will be sharp as a knife and you won’t even see it coming After the excellent showcase of performances, the contestants are given a well deserving break to explore the campus, people around or the happening city itself. Every college has their own favorite usual ‘hangout’ place. This place usually has cheap, unhealthy but mind boggling food. Despite the food, the cultural difference, the more hyper crowd, the buzzing nights in JNTUK-UCEV makes the difference. ECENTRA2K16 would surely serve as a well-deserved break that though drains the students out of the physical energy, mentally gives them an energy boost that replenished their minds with fruitful memories of the fests that can be now cherished and can be survived on, until the season of college festivals comes around again. Apart from the fact that you get to attend the various events according to your field of interest, including concerts, Drama, Debates, Paper presentations and whatnot, the best part would be, if you get to attend them with your friends. What’s better than to have the bunch of your closest friends to add crazy to an already eventful day?

How to reach JNTUK Vizianagaram

Vizianagaram can be reached very easily as it is located across the NH43 (National Highway road) and well connected to all the major cities and towns. The city has a railway junction which is on the Chennai - Howrah line and numerous trains like Visakha Express, Konark Express, Howrah Express, East Coast Express, Hirakhand Express and Dhanbad Express halt here. The nearest domestic airport is at Visakhapatnam at a distance of 62 km and the nearest international airport is at Shamshabad, Hyderabad at a distance of nearly 640 km.
From Vizianagaram APSRTC Bus Complex, board any bus going in Saluru - Bobbili Route and disembark by JNTU Bus Stop (around 5.5KM) and walk 1.5 KM west to reach the Campus.

Hire an auto rikshaw from any major point in Vizianagarm to JNTUK UCEV Campus (charges around Rs. 100/-)

Head west on Bus Stand Rd towards Railway Station Rd 180m Continue straight at Mayura Junction (Traffic Signals) 130 m at the round about, take the 2nd exit and stay on NH 43 Pass by Police Barracks (on the left in 1.1 km) 5.2 km Pass by Collectorate Junction, KL Puram and RTA Office Continue on JNTUK- Campus Rd to your destination 2.2 km / 5 min Turn left onto JNTUK- Campus Rd 1.5 km Continue straight to reach UCEV
